Call for Papers: Connecting Sustainability Knowledge and Local Action for Achieving SDGs

This is a call for special issue (SI) papers that can contribute to socio-ecological practice research (SEPR) by providing scientific advice on shaping implementable actions and robust pathways for achieving sustainability under global change from the bottom-up. For further information please refer to the extract below from the paper Connecting Sustainability Knowledge and Local Action for Achieving SDGs to which members of the Local SDGs Project team were guest editors.

4. Abstract preparation and submission

We accept submission types as research articles, review articles, and opinion articles (communications, perspective). Please email the following information to e.moallemi@deakin.edu.au by 30 September 2019.

  • Your submission type

  • The theme your article will fall within

  • Title

  • Author information (including email)

  • Abstract (300-500 words)

Accepted abstracts will be invited to submit their full drafts by 20 October 2019. Proposed abstracts will be also considered for presentations at the 6th International Ecosummit Congress to be held on 21 - 25 June 2020 in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

5. Key deadlines

  • 30 September 2019 — Abstracts due with guest editors.

  • 20 October 2019 — Decision emails sent out from guest editors.

  • 28 February 2020 — Full draft manuscripts due with guest editors.

  • 07 June 2020 — Comments and guidance for revisions to authors.

  • 30 August 2020 — Final revisions of manuscripts due with guest editors.

  • 30 October 2020 — All articles to be included are accepted, guest editorial and table of contents due to the editor-in-chief
