Outcomes
We outlined that we are undertaking a preliminary contextual analysis and stakeholder engagement activities in the form of workshops, interviews, survey for visioning, target setting, actions formulation, and the design of the monitoring system. We also acknowledged there are many existing resources in the GM region: historical information, previous strategic thinking, planning documents and scenario framing activities.

We received feedback from participants regarding other available resources related to the case of GM. We compiled a list of all references that we obtained from the meeting participants in an Endnote library for the GM contextual analysis.

In order to downscale the UN global Sustainable Development Goals it was decided that we must prioritise indicators most relevant to the local community. The input of local communities and stakeholders is essential for informing our modelling approach and achieving our aim of co-designing pathways to local sustainability.
