Purpose
The implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is targeted at a local level with local community, stakeholder and expert participation to produce the best outcomes. A contextual analysis is being undertaken to demonstrate knowledge of local issues and existing sustainable pathways when consulting with the Forrest community.

Method
The methods involved a review of grey literature and previous community engagements. Documents were coded to identify those most relevant as well as three to five applicable SDGs. Gateway to the Otways, Forrest – Assessing Feasibility was one of the four highest rated documents. Sustainable Cities and Communities as well as Climate Action were among the five most frequently coded SDGs across all documents.
